The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in identity and access management, data protection technologies, encryption, security monitoring, and privacy controls across cloud environments. This role will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of enterprise data while supporting regulatory compliance and security best practices.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement data security and privacy controls across enterprise environmentsManage identity and access management (IAM) solutions across cloud platformsImplement data protection strategies including encryption, masking, and data loss preventionConfigure and manage security monitoring and threat detection solutionsSupport security assessments, audits, and compliance initiativesDefine and enforce data security policies, standards, and best practicesCollaborate with cloud, infrastructure, application, and data teams to secure enterprise data assetsMonitor security events, investigate incidents, and support remediation activitiesImplement secure data handling practices throughout the data lifecycleSupport privacy initiatives including sensitive data discovery, classification, and protectionContinuously evaluate emerging security threats and recommend improvementsRequired Technical SkillsIdentity & Access Management (IAM)Hands-on experience with GCP IAM or Azure IAM or AWS IAMStrong understanding of identity governance, authentication, authorization, roles, permissions, and access controlsExperience implementing least privilege access models and access management best practicesData Protection & PrivacyExperience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutionsStrong understanding of data classification, sensitive data protection, and privacy controlsExperience implementing data security policies and compliance requirementsEncryption & Key ManagementStrong experience with Encryption and Key Management Services (KMS)Knowledge of encryption standards, key lifecycle management, certificate management, and cryptographic best practicesExperience securing data at rest, in transit, and during processingData Masking & ProtectionExperience implementing Data Masking techniques for protecting sensitive informationUnderstanding of tokenization, anonymization, and privacy-enhancing technologiesSecurity Monitoring & SIEMHands-on experience with Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel for security monitoring and incident detectionExperience analyzing security events, alerts, logs, and threat intelligence dataKnowledge of SIEM use cases, dashboards, and security investigationsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field3–11+ years of experience in Data Security, Cloud Security, Information Security, or Privacy EngineeringStrong understanding of cloud security principles and enterprise security architectureExcellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skillsExperience working with cross-functional security and technology teamsPreferred SkillsExperience with cloud security frameworks and compliance standardsKnowledge of privacy regulations and data protection requirementsFamiliarity with security automation and incident response processesExperience securing data platforms, analytics environments, and cloud-native applicationsSecurity certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, Security+, or cloud security certifications are a plusKey Technology StackCloud IAM: GCP IAM or Azure IAM or AWS IAMData Protection: DLP and Data Classification and Privacy ControlsEncryption & Security: Encryption and KMS and Key Lifecycle ManagementData Privacy: Data Masking and Tokenization and Sensitive Data ProtectionSecurity Monitoring: Splunk or Microsoft SentinelSecurity Operations: SIEM Monitoring and Threat Detection and Incident ResponseCloud Security: Cloud Security Controls and Access Governance and Compliance Management
