For more information, visit www.tcs.com and follow TCS news at @TCS_News.Job Description:The SME / Lead Economist & Market Intelligence Modeler to act as the business and analytical SME for the Market Mapping Program, responsible for identifying the right external and internal datasets, defining the economic and industry modelling framework, and ensuring the solution generates meaningful business opportunities and NTB leads. The SME will bridge business, data, AI, and technology teams to translate macroeconomic indicators into actionable commercial insights. Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and validate the macroeconomic, industry, trade, and company-level data required across 21 countries.Assess datasets such as GDP, FDI, trade flows, industry outlooks, company information, IMF, LSEG, Bloomberg, Moody's Orbis, and similar market intelligence sources.Design and oversee econometric, statistical, and predictive models to identify high-growth countries, industries, and corporate prospects.Define weighting, correlation, ranking, and scoring methodologies for opportunity identification.Validate which variables should be included, excluded, or enhanced within the model framework.Work with Data Engineering teams to define data acquisition, refresh frequencies, and data quality requirements.Collaborate with AI Hub and RM Advisory teams to convert model outputs into actionable business recommendations.Support business case preparation, benefits quantification, and opportunity sizing.Participate in UAT and ongoing model performance monitoring.Thank you for your interest in applying for this position with TCS.
