Data Strategy & Control Lead

JOB PURPOSE / ROLE:To lead the development, Implementation, and monitoring of the RB enterprise data strategy and governance controls, Ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements and data management standards while driving continues improvement in data governance capabilities.AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:Policies, Processes & Procedures:Assist the development and execution of the Data Strategy & Control policies, procedures and controls for all sources of the data.Day- to-Day Operations:Perform the day-to-day activities and ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and proceduresJob Related Accountabilities:Lead the implementation and continuous enhancement of the Bank’s Enterprise Data Strategy.Develop and monitor data governance controls, standards, policies, and procedures across the Bank.Track the execution of strategic data initiatives and report progress against approved roadmaps and KPIs.Coordinate with business and technology stakeholders to ensure alignment of data initiatives with business prioritiesEstablish governance mechanisms to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements related to data management.Monitor data governance maturity and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.Support enterprise-wide data governance forums and committees by preparing reports, dashboards, and decision-support materials.Coordinate the implementation of data-related regulatory and compliance requirements.Collaborate with Data Quality, Master Data, Metadata, Data Privacy, and Business Intelligence teams to ensure consistent governance practices.Lead assigned strategic initiatives and perform other related duties as required.Change Management Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practices’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.Related Assignments:Performs other related duties or assignments as directedQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Information Management System, Information Systems or Computer Science or Related FiledMinimum Experience:6-8 years relevant experience in Data ManagementLanguage:English: Advanced
