With a vision for holistic, industry-relevant education, byteXL is committed to enhancing both technical capabilities and career readiness for every engineering student.Role Description The Data Structures and Algorithms Educator will deliver high-quality, structured instruction on core computer science concepts to engineering students in an on-site setting in Hyderabad. This full-time role includes planning and conducting interactive lectures, labs, and workshops on topics such as arrays, linked lists, trees, graphs, sorting, searching, and algorithmic problem-solving. The educator will design and update course materials, create assessments, and provide constructive feedback to support continuous learner improvement. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve mentoring students on coding practices, guiding them through competitive programming and interview-style questions, and collaborating with academic and industry stakeholders to keep content aligned with current technology trends and hiring expectations. The educator will participate in curriculum reviews, track student performance data, and contribute to innovative teaching methods that enhance engagement and learning outcomes.Qualifications Strong foundation in Data Structures and Algorithms, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and solve problems efficiently.Proficiency in at least one major programming language (such as C++, Java, or Python) and experience with coding platforms or competitive programming.Experience designing and delivering technical training, classroom instruction, or workshops for students or early-career professionals.Ability to create structured learning materials, including lecture notes, assignments, projects, and assessments aligned with academic and industry needs.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a learner-centric approach and strong classroom management abilities.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.Familiarity with software development practices, data-driven assessment of student performance, and continuous curriculum improvement.Prior experience in an edtech or academic environment in India, especially working with engineering college students, is an advantage.
