You'll bring strong production experience, performance tuning, high availability setups and cloud-based database solutions, and you'll work on high-scale, high-throughput systems.What You'll DoDatabase ManagementInstall, configure and administer Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL and Aurora PostgreSQLManage NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra and DynamoDBHandle provisioning, upgrades, patching and migrationsPerformance & ReliabilityAnalyze and optimize slow queries, indexes and database workloadsTune performance at the database, query and infrastructure levelsProactively monitor performance and implement improvementsHigh Availability & ScalabilityDesign and implement HA/DR solutions (replication, clustering, Always On, Data Guard, streaming replication)Keep systems highly available, scalable and resilientContribute to capacity planning and scaling strategiesBackup & Disaster RecoveryDesign, implement and validate backup and recovery strategiesPlan and test disaster recoveryEnsure RPO/RTO requirements are metSecurity & ComplianceManage database security: roles, access control and encryptionEnsure compliance with data protection and governance standardsRun regular audits and vulnerability assessmentsCloud & AutomationWork on cloud platforms, preferably AWS (RDS, Aurora, EC2-hosted databases)Automate routine DBA tasks with Shell, Python and PowerShellSupport infrastructure-as-code and DevOps practicesCollaboration & SupportPartner with development and DevOps teams on schema design and deploymentsSupport CI/CD pipelines involving database changesProvide L2/L3 support for production issues and incidentsGood to HaveDBA certifications (Oracle, Microsoft, PostgreSQL)Note Immediate Joiner PrefferedExperience - 5+ years
