Required Skills & Experience-At least 1 year of experience working at a Datacenter as a smart hand or Metro Field Engineer- Hands on experience with IT hardware or in fiber optics-Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues as they arise-Certifications like CompTIA A+, Cisco CCNA preferredJob DescriptionAssisting with initial device configurations under remote guidanceLabeling, testing, and managing network and power cables to ensure proper connectivity and organization• Performing basic troubleshooting, power cycling devices, and executing routine maintenance tasks on-site• Verifying serial numbers, and taking digital photos of equipment for asset tracking purposes•Acting as the physical presence for remote engineers, implementing their instructions to complete tasks that require on-site access$22.15/hr
