Datacenter Technician

Key ResponsibilitiesPerform break-fix repair and replacement of servers, switches, routers, optics, and storage equipment.Handle hardware/software installation, configuration, cabling, and testing.Perform structured cabling termination and MAC activities for copper and fiber.Install racks, cabinets, and enclosures; prepare, stage, and energize equipment.Provide network operations support, including connectivity troubleshooting, system-level diagnosis, and link/port verification.Monitor infrastructure alerts and respond promptly to incidents.Conduct proactive infrastructure inspections and report potential hazards.Maintain accurate asset and cable-management records using Fluidstack-specified tools.Draft and maintain SOPs/MOPs.Mentor L1 personnel when required.Be available to work any shift on a 24/7 basis, including weekends and holidays.Requirements2–3+ years of hands-on Data Center experience.Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with the ability to work under pressure.Experience with structured cabling and protocols such as Ethernet, Fiber, DWDM/CWDM, and MPLS, as applicable.Familiarity with BMS/EPMS.Strong documentation and communication skills.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Flexible to work 24/7 shifts, including weekends and holidays.
