The role includes designing and reviewing curricula, aligning programs with regulatory and accreditation requirements, and promoting innovative teaching and learning practices. The Dean Academics will coordinate with heads of departments and faculty members to ensure timely completion of syllabi, effective assessment processes, and continuous improvement in student outcomes. Daily responsibilities include guiding academic policies, monitoring academic performance metrics, mentoring faculty, fostering research and industry collaboration, and supporting the integration of technology in teaching. The role also involves participation in academic governance, strategic planning, and stakeholder communication to maintain high academic standards.Qualifications Advanced academic qualifications (preferably Ph.D.) in a relevant discipline, with a strong record of teaching, research, and academic leadership.Experience in curriculum development, academic administration, and quality assurance in higher education.Proficiency in educational planning, policy formulation, and implementation aligned with regulatory and accreditation bodies.Strong leadership, decision-making, and team management abilities, with experience supervising faculty and academic staff.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Familiarity with outcome-based education, modern pedagogical methods, and use of technology and learning management systems in academics.Demonstrated ability to promote research, interdisciplinary initiatives, and industry-academia partnerships.High level of integrity, student-centric approach, and commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory academic practices.
