The Dean oversees academic programs, curriculum implementation, and teaching quality to ensure that computer science education is delivered effectively and in alignment with the organization’s mission. Daily responsibilities include managing and mentoring teaching staff, monitoring student outcomes, and collaborating with academic teams to refine course content and learning methodologies. The Dean also engages with parents and stakeholders, addresses academic concerns, and ensures adherence to institutional policies and standards. Additionally, the Dean contributes to strategic planning, helps design new initiatives to enhance learning experiences, and fosters an inclusive, supportive environment for students and staff.Qualifications Strong background in computer science, education, or a related field, with experience in curriculum development and academic leadership.Proven ability to supervise and mentor teaching staff, manage academic operations, and maintain high standards of teaching and learning.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with students, parents, and internal teams in a constructive, inclusive manner.Demonstrated experience working with children or youth-focused educational programs, preferably in technology or STEM education.Ability to design and implement initiatives that promote creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving among young learners.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Computer Science, or a related discipline; prior experience in an academic leadership role is highly beneficial.Strong organizational, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
