The role involves providing academic leadership for the commerce and management departments, including overseeing curriculum design, program review, and quality assurance. The Dean will coordinate teaching and learning activities, mentor faculty members, and support the development of innovative pedagogical practices. Day-to-day responsibilities include facilitating research initiatives, fostering industry and community partnerships, managing faculty resources, and contributing to strategic planning for the faculty. The Dean will also represent the faculty in university-level committees, support accreditation and compliance processes, and promote an inclusive and learner-centered academic environment.Qualifications Advanced expertise in Education and Teaching, with substantial experience in higher education, particularly in commerce and management disciplines.Demonstrated proficiency in Curriculum Development, including designing, implementing, and evaluating academic programs aligned with current industry and research trends.Strong background in Research, with a record of scholarly publications, funded projects, or contributions to academic and professional communities.Proven Strategic Planning skills, including the ability to set academic priorities, manage change, and align faculty initiatives with the university’s long-term goals.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with experience leading diverse academic teams and fostering collaborative environments.Doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent) in a relevant field such as Commerce, Management, Business Administration, or Education.Experience with accreditation processes, academic governance, and policy development within a university setting.Commitment to equity, inclusion, ethical practices, and student-centered learning.
