We are seeking an accomplished academic leader with strong administrative capabilities, sound technical knowledge and a commitment to academic excellence.Essential Qualifications:Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology or a relevant discipline is mandatoryMaster’s degree in MCA, Computer Science, IT or a related fieldQualifications and experience must be in accordance with applicable UGC/AICTE normsMinimum 10 years of teaching, research and academic administration experiencePrior experience as Dean, Director, Head of Department or in a similar academic leadership position will be preferred

Key Responsibilities

Provide academic and administrative leadership to the MCA DepartmentDevelop and implement an industry-oriented, AI-enabled curriculumEnsure effective academic planning, timetable management and smooth conduct of examinationsMonitor teaching quality, student performance, attendance and faculty productivityLead faculty recruitment, development, mentoring and performance evaluationPromote research, publications, patents, funded projects and industry collaborationsEstablish strong linkages with IT companies for internships, live projects, certifications and placementsEncourage innovation, entrepreneurship, coding culture and participation in hackathonsEnsure compliance with university, UGC, AICTE and institutional guidelinesSupport admission initiatives and contribute to the overall growth of the MCA programmeWork closely with the Training and Placement Department to improve student employability and placement outcomesPreferred Candidate Profile:The ideal candidate should possess excellent leadership, communication and team-management skills, along with a strong understanding of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing and Full-Stack Development.Interested candidates may share their updated CV via LinkedIn or mail us at careers@accurate.in with the subject line: “Application for Dean – MCA.”
