Through its innovative Bachelor of Arts in Business program, students complete a rigorous, cohort-based education in two years and eight months while graduating debt-free. The successful candidate will demonstrate a mature and growing Christian faith, actively participate in a local church, embrace Oak Valley College's Statement of Faith, and model Christ-centered leadership for faculty, staff, and students. Position SummaryThe Dean of Academics serves as the College's chief academic officer, providing leadership for academic quality, faculty development, assessment, accreditation, student success, and career preparation. Reporting directly to the President, the Dean works collaboratively with faculty and staff to ensure that Oak Valley College delivers an academically rigorous, Christ-centered educational experience while advancing the College's strategic mission.The Dean is expected to have an active presence on campus, especially engaging with students and faculty. Core office hours are 9am-5pm, Monday-Thursday with an additional ten hours a week working remotely. A regular teaching load is expected with the Dean teaching 2-3 courses per year.
