Job Title: Deep Learning ResearcherLocation: London or Cambridge, UKType: PermanentOur client are an international semiconductor company.Responsibilities:Lead engineering efforts on complex research projects in machine learning and artificial intelligenceOptimize algorithms and ensure the scalability and robustness of research prototypes and systemsCoordinate closely with researchers to align engineering work with research objectives and project goalsContribute to technical publications and assist in preparing research documentationMaintain and improve research infrastructure, tools, and workflowsStay up to date with the latest advancements in AI, engineering best practices, and related fieldsRequirements:PhD in Computer Science or related subjectPublications in conferences such as: NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, EMNLP, AAAI, IJCAIExtensive experience researching machine learning algorithms and systemsAdvanced proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or similarExperience with optimization, reinforcement learning, and/or large language models (LLMs)Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX)Experience with scalable system design and deployment in research or production environmentsExposure to chip design or applied AI researchIf this sounds like it could be of interest, please apply below or reach out to daniel@microtech-global.com
