Agile Delivery Manager Industry: Public Sector / Tech Consultancy

Location: Remote (Occasional travel to Client site or the Godalming / Milton Keynes offices)Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + BenefitsMust be eligible for SC ClearanceWe're working with a brilliant tech consultancy who've spent over 35 years delivering data, digital and solutions work almost exclusively for the UK public sector.

They've built a culture that people genuinely rate too.The RoleYou'll be leading teams of 5 to 10 through complex, cloud based delivery, keeping things moving, keeping stakeholders aligned and keeping quality high.Specifically, you'll be:Owning end to end technical delivery of government projects, making sure everything meets the GDS Service StandardLeading service assessments and managing supplier performanceCoaching and motivating your team, building a genuinely collaborative, high performing environmentBuilding strong, honest relationships with stakeholders at every levelLeading the design and rollout of forward thinking, customer focused solutionsSpotting risks early and managing them before they become problemsUsing commercial judgement to manage scope, timelines and resource properlySupporting procurement processes with clarity, from vendor engagement through to contract managementLeading delivery of scalable, secure, resilient systems in cloud environments like AWS, Azure or GCPWhat You'll BringExtensive experience delivering against the GDS Service Standard, this is a mustA strong track record delivering with Agile frameworks like Scrum or KanbanProven experience leading cross functional teams under pressureConfidence engaging diverse stakeholder groups and translating business needs into actionA solid grasp of commercial models and procurement processes in regulated environmentsHands-on experience with cloud native or cloud hosted solutionsExcellent written, verbal and presentation skills, you'll need to make complex things simple for a range of audiencesNice to have but not essential: Experience working within a consultancy setting, and background in Discovery or Alpha phases including user research and service design.Because of the nature of the work, you'll need to be eligible for SC clearance, which means five years of UK residency and the right to work here.The Details:This role is mainly remote, with occasional travel needed to client sites or the Godalming and Milton Keynes offices, but this can absolutely be a remote hire.The Benefits:25 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays.Matched pension contributions (5%).Private healthcare with Bupa.Gym membership support or Lakeshore Fitness access.Perkbox membership.Cycle-to-work scheme.If you've got deep GDS experience and want to lead delivery on projects that actually matter, get in touch.
