Delivery Manager

Our client is an established engineering and infrastructure services business that delivers complex projects for a blue-chip client base. As part of its ongoing growth, it is now looking to appoint an experienced delivery professional to its Dubai office.Working from the Dubai office, the role will lead a portfolio of electrical and technical installation projects across mission-critical and data centre environments. Oversight of several live projects at any one time is central to the position, with responsibility for programme, budget, resourcing and risk from contract award through to completion and handover. Managing site teams and specialist subcontractors forms a large part of the remit, with a strong focus on safety, quality and adherence to client specifications. Sign-off of technical documentation, design changes and test and commissioning records will also sit with the role, alongside regular reporting on cost, schedule and performance to both internal leadership and client stakeholders. On the commercial side, input into tenders, pricing and value engineering is expected, as is building on existing client relationships to secure follow-on work.At least five years of project or delivery management experience is required within data centres, mission-critical facilities or technical building services, ideally gained with an electrical or MEP contractor. A sound technical grounding in electrical installation and wider building services is essential, together with familiarity with relevant international standards and testing practices. Exposure to large-scale or hyperscale data centre programmes will be highly regarded. Strong client-facing and commercial skills are expected, along with the ability to balance competing priorities across multiple projects. A degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline is preferred, and a recognised project management qualification such as PMP or PRINCE2 would be an advantage.
