Delivery Supervisor

The incumbent, as the Delivery Supervisor, is responsible for supervising the distribution operations within the Trilogi Non-Food division at GMG. The incumbent ensures that all deliveries are executed in a timely, efficient, and safe manner, while managing the team of delivery personnel. This role requires planning and coordinating delivery schedules, managing delivery resources, and ensuring compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and safety regulations.ResponsibilitiesThe incumbent is responsible for overseeing daily delivery operations, ensuring the efficient dispatch of goods from the warehouse to the customers. This includes managing a team of drivers and delivery staff, ensuring vehicles are properly maintained, and planning delivery routes for maximum efficiency.The incumbent monitors delivery performance, resolves issues that arise during the delivery process, and works closely with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth coordination of activities.The role also involves tracking key performance metrics, ensuring compliance with all health and safety standards, and developing strategies for improving delivery operations.Educational QualificationsBachelor’s degree in logistics or equivalent.Certification in supply chain management is a nice to have.Relevant safety training certification.Knowledge of local traffic laws.Certification in logistics software preferred.Experience Previous experience in outbound operations, including day-to-day delivery operations,Relevant experience in delivery operations including coordination with the Sales department,Good knowledge of delivery routes and order allocation for across UAE,Ability to work effectively with multiple departments and across multiple shifts, Including Day, Mid, and Night shifts,Good communication skills in Hindi and English,Experience in vehicle maintenance coordination and day-to-day coordination with drivers and helpers,Strong coordination, follow-up, and problem-solving skills,Willingness to stay in company-provided accommodation, allowing easy access to the assigned different location and flexibility to support different shifts when required
