Demand Planner

Job Purpose:The Demand Planner is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate sales and demand forecasts. As well as coordinating & communicating with multiple teams to develop monthly & weekly sales forecasts, along with incorporating historical sales seasonality & trends.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for ensuring the correct inventory at the stores by analyzing the current inventory status and updating the ordering parameters.Daily monitoring of stock movement, running report of daily inventory and sales for forecasting demand.Maintaining parameters of the replenishment model and making sure it is accurately input.Preparing demand forecasts and initiating ordering to the suppliers and tracking receipt of such orders.Managing the relevant inventory in coordination with the Account ManagersEnsuring timely and accurate analysis and reporting of inventory and purchase forecastsDispatching orders to stores and ensuring proper trackingLiaising with suppliers for improving collaborative forecasting planning and replenishmentEnsuring maintenance of appropriate and accurate records of in-stock and inventory position are kept.

Job Requirements

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficient in Demand forecasting and Reporting.Reviews customer service metrics and investigates root causes.Fluent English and Arabic would be highly advantageous.Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in demand planning field.Moderate to Advance knowledge of MS Excel skills (Pivot tables / formulas / linking Google Sheets) etc.
