Location: Riyadh, Saudi ArabiaIndustry: Food & Beverage, Retail, ManufacturingRole Overview:The Demand Planner is responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts, analyzing sales trends, and aligning demand signals with supply chain capacity.

The role involves coordinating with commercial and supply chain teams, optimizing inventory levels, and driving forecast accuracy to support business growth and maintain target customer service levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop baseline demand forecasts using historical statistical data, market trends, and seasonal patterns.
• Lead demand planning meetings with Sales, Marketing, Retail, and Supply Chain to align on volume forecasts.
• Monitor and analyze Forecast Accuracy (FA) and Bias metrics, identifying root causes for variances and implementing corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Marketing on New Product Introductions (NPI), promotions, and product phase-in/phase-out plans.
• Analyze sales trends, customer order patterns, and channel-specific demand to refine forecasting models.
• Create and maintain dashboards and analytics reports using Power BI for management reporting and decision-making.
• Collaborate with Supply Planning and Procurement to ensure alignment between demand forecasts and production/inventory plans.
• Monitor stock levels across depots and channels to prevent stockouts and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
• Maintain and update demand planning master data within Microsoft Dynamics.
• Provide continuous improvements to the demand planning process to increase operational efficiency.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering.Minimum 2 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analysis (preferably in FMCG, Retail, or Food & Beverage Manufacturing).Full fluency in spoken and written English.Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP system is a MUST.Strong proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and visualization.Strong understanding of forecasting methods, S&OP processes, and inventory metrics.Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
