Demand Planner - (Pharmaceutical)

JOB PURPOSE: To support the demand planning process by generating accurate forecasts and providing data-driven insights to ensure product availability, inventory optimization, and efficient supply chain execution for the Pharma division.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Forecasting Support:Assist in the preparation of short- and long-term demand forecastsAnalyze sales trends, promotional activity, seasonality, and product life cyclesData Management and Coordination:Coordinate with sales, marketing, and logistics to gather forecast inputsMaintain forecasting models and update demand planning systemsAnalysis and Reporting:Monitor forecast accuracy and identify improvement areasSupport S&OP meetings with relevant data and analysisGenerate regular reports and dashboards for performance trackingInventory Support and Optimization:Provide recommendations to improve stock availabilityAlert the team on low or high stock risks based on forecast trendsProcess Development and Documentation:Document forecasting procedures and planning cyclesAssist in developing SOPs and improving planning accuracy over timeEXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Pharmacy, or related field is an advantageMinimum Experience: 2–3 years of UAE experience in demand planning. Pharmaceutical experience is a mustSKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES: Job Specific:Familiarity with forecasting methods and planning systemsStrong proficiency in Excel and data visualization toolsGeneric Skills:Attention to detail and numerical accuracyStrong interpersonal and communication skillsCollaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally
