Demand Planning Coordinator (Tamheer)

Primary Purpose:The Demand Planning Coordinator Trainee will support the demand planning and supply chain team in preparing demand forecasts, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring product availability. The trainee will work closely with Sales, Procurement, Production, Logistics, and other relevant departments to support effective demand planning and inventory management.Key Accountabilities:Support the preparation and maintenance of demand forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, and input from the Sales team.Assist in monitoring inventory levels and identifying potential stock shortages or excess inventory.Support the preparation and distribution of demand planning and inventory reports.Assist in analyzing sales trends, customer demand, and product performance.Support the identification of demand and inventory risks and assist in proposing appropriate solutions.Coordinate with Procurement and Logistics teams to support timely stock replenishment.Assist in coordinating with Production and other relevant departments to ensure product availability.Support the incorporation of information related to promotions, product launches, and market changes into demand forecasts.Maintain accurate planning data and reports.Support continuous improvement initiatives within demand planning and supply chain functions.Perform any other related tasks as assigned by the direct manager.Education:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Skills:Good verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.Basic understanding of demand planning and inventory management.Strong attention to detail.
