We should not overstock our warehouse and incur unnecessary stockholding costs and we should also not oversupply our customers resulting in inventory depletion costs. At the same time, neither should we experience business loss due to understock and undersupplying our customers, creating out-of-stock situations at both our 3PL warehouses and our customer's stock-on-hand.The role will manage SKU-level demand forecasting, purchase and replenishment planning, inventory health and supply coordination across multiple brands, suppliers, customers and countries. The planner will work both on both inward and outward perspectives to balance product availability with healthy stock levels and working-capital requirements. What You’ll DoDevelop rolling SKU-level demand forecasts using historical sales, customer forecasts, promotional plans, seasonality and market intelligence.Convert demand forecasts into purchasing, replenishment and supply plans.Monitor inventory coverage, stock availability, incoming shipments and customer requirements.Identify potential out-of-stocks, excess inventory, ageing stock and short-dated products before they become operational or financial issues in both the retailer's stock as well as our warehouse inventory.Recommend purchase quantities and timings based on lead times, minimum order quantities, available stock and expected demand.Coordinate with Sales on forecasts, promotions, new listings, launches and changes in customer demand.Track purchase orders, production readiness and shipment schedules and present weekly status update reports. Maintain planning reports and improve forecast accuracy, inventory turnover and service levels.Support the monthly sales and operations planning process with clear data, risks and recommended actions.Help improve ERP data, planning tools and inventory-management processes and take custodianship of correct product master and supplier master data.Review order status with suppliers over Teams calls/in-person meetings.Anything else related to the planning/forecasting of either demand side or supply side orders.Who You Should BeBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related fieldAt least 2 years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning or replenishment.Experience within FMCG, CPG, retail distribution, travel retail or another SKU-intensive environment.Strong analytical ability and confidence working with large datasets.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with ERP systems such as Odoo is an advantage.Able to translate sales information and market inputs into practical purchasing and inventory decisions.Willing to work half-days on SaturdaysWilling to commute daily to Dubai Investments Park 2
