We are looking for a reliable dental professional who can support clinical teams while coordinating essential clinic activities.The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant / Clinic Coordinator to support dental professionals, coordinate patient appointments, assist with clinic administration, and help ensure smooth daily operations.The ideal candidate combines practical dental knowledge with strong organizational and communication skills and is comfortable working with patients, dentists, suppliers, insurers, and administrative teams.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport dentists and clinical staff during examinations, treatments, procedures, and patient consultations within the scope of the role.Prepare treatment rooms, dental instruments, materials, equipment, and supplies before and after procedures.Assist with patient preparation, positioning, comfort, and post-treatment instructions as directed by qualified dental professionals.Follow applicable infection-control, sterilization, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.Coordinate patient appointments, confirmations, cancellations, rescheduling, and follow-up visits.Maintain accurate patient registration, appointment, treatment-support, and administrative records.Communicate with patients regarding appointment schedules, clinic procedures, documentation, and non-clinical inquiries.Coordinate schedules between dentists, hygienists, specialists, patients, laboratories, and other relevant parties.Support dental laboratory coordination, including sending and receiving approved dental materials, impressions, models, or related documentation.Monitor dental supplies, instruments, consumables, and inventory levels and report replenishment requirements.Assist with billing, payment coordination, insurance documentation, pre-authorizations, and administrative follow-up where applicable.Handle patient questions, concerns, and service issues professionally, escalating clinical matters to qualified dental professionals.Maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow applicable privacy and data-protection requirements.Use dental practice-management systems, EHR/EMR platforms, scheduling tools, CRM systems, and digital communication platforms.Assist with daily opening and closing procedures, clinic organization, equipment checks, and administrative tasks.Prepare appointment schedules, operational reports, supply records, and other clinic documentation.Coordinate with reception, finance, procurement, insurance providers, laboratories, and management teams.Identify opportunities to improve patient flow, appointment coordination, clinical support, and overall patient experience.RequirementsBachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Dental Assisting, Dental Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is preferred.3+ years of professional experience in dental assisting, dental clinic coordination, healthcare administration, or a similar role is preferred.Relevant dental-assisting qualification or authorization required by applicable local regulations is advantageous and may be required depending on clinical duties.Practical understanding of dental procedures, instruments, infection control, sterilization, and clinical support protocols.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional and patient-focused approach.Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities.Excellent attention to detail when handling patient information, appointments, supplies, and documentation.Experience with dental practice-management software, EHR/EMR, scheduling systems, or CRM platforms.Strong computer literacy and confidence using email, spreadsheets, and digital administrative tools.Ability to work calmly and professionally in a busy clinical environment.Strong understanding of patient confidentiality and healthcare data protection.Knowledge of UAE healthcare and dental regulatory requirements is advantageous.Additional language skills are advantageous, particularly Arabic.What We OfferFlexible part-time working hours with a remote-friendly administrative and coordination arrangement where applicable.Competitive compensation aligned with experience and responsibilities.Opportunity to support professional dental operations and patient-care services.Exposure to dental assisting, patient coordination, clinic administration, insurance processes, and healthcare technology.Professional development opportunities and continuous dental and healthcare training.A supportive, patient-focused environment where professionalism, hygiene, teamwork, accuracy, confidentiality, and service excellence are highly valued.
