Staff members work collaboratively to meet individual needs and uphold high standards of empathy, safety, and quality.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Dental Assistant role based in Warren, NJ. The Dental Assistant will support oral surgeons and clinical staff during procedures by preparing treatment rooms, organizing instruments, and assisting chairside with patient care. Daily responsibilities include welcoming patients, reviewing medical histories, ensuring comfort before and after procedures, and providing clear post-operative instructions under clinician guidance. The role involves maintaining strict infection control protocols, sterilizing instruments, managing supplies, and keeping clinical areas clean and organized. The Dental Assistant will also help with scheduling, documentation, and coordination of care, contributing to an efficient, patient-focused environment.Qualifications Foundational knowledge in Dental Care and Oral Care, with a commitment to high-quality patient support.Understanding of Dentistry procedures and terminology, particularly in oral surgery and dental implants.Proficiency in Sterilization and infection control practices in accordance with safety and regulatory standards.Practical experience or formal training in Dental Assisting, including chairside assistance and patient preparation.Dental Assistant certification or diploma preferred; radiology license and CPR/BLS certification are beneficial.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact respectfully and empathetically with diverse patients.Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow clinical protocols and work effectively in a fast-paced surgical setting.Willingness to work the practice’s scheduled hours, including occasional Saturdays, and to participate in ongoing training.
