The location offers the opportunity to build long-term relationships with patients while supporting a community-centered approach to dentistry.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Dental Assistant role located in Oak Park, IL. The Dental Assistant supports dentists and hygienists during examinations and procedures, including preparing treatment rooms, organizing dental instruments, and assisting chairside. Daily responsibilities include sterilizing and maintaining equipment, taking and preparing patient records, and helping ensure patient comfort before, during, and after visits. The role also involves managing supplies, supporting front-desk workflows as needed, and following safety and infection-control protocols to maintain a clean, compliant clinical environment.Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Dental Assisting and Dentistry to support clinical procedures and chairside care.Candidates should possess skills in Dental Care and Oral Care to help educate patients and reinforce preventive treatment plans.Candidates should possess skills in Sterilization to maintain instruments, equipment, and treatment areas in accordance with infection-control standards.Relevant experience in a dental office or clinical setting, including familiarity with dental terminology and procedures.Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills, with the ability to work respectfully with patients of all backgrounds.Ability to follow detailed instructions, prioritize tasks, and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited dental assisting program and current certifications (e.g., radiography, CPR) are preferred.Certication for coronal polishing and sealant required.HoursMonday - Thursday: 9:30AM-7:30PM
