Dental Assistant

We are seeking a HARP-certified Dental Assistant with a Level II Dental Assisting Certificate to join our busy oral surgery specialty practice in Ancaster.Key Responsibilities:Assist with oral surgery proceduresPrepare workstations and take periapical and panoramic x-raysClean and sterilize instruments and maintain equipmentWelcome and prepare patients, manage charts, and provide pre- and post-operative instructionsRequirements:Previous experience in dental assisting, preferably within oral surgery, is highly desirableProficiency with dental software is preferredKnowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and surgical proceduresExcellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all agesAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting while maintaining attention to detailCertification or training in dental assisting is required (Level II)Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectivelyMust be a team playerSchedule:Monday to Friday (no weekends or evenings)Shifts between 7:00 am – 5:00 pm (7-8 hour daily shifts based on patient schedule)Compensation & Benefits:Pay: Competitive Benefits: Dental, extended health, vision (after 3 month probationary period)Qualifications:Experience: 1 year preferredCertification: Dental Assisting Level II (required)This is an in-person position.
