Team members benefit from working in a collaborative setting with a strong emphasis on patient comfort, safety, and clinical excellence.Role Description The Dental Assistant role at Eyesmile is a full-time, on-site position based in Belmont, MA. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting dentists during procedures, preparing and organizing treatment rooms, assisting with patient intake and chairside care, and ensuring instruments and equipment are properly cleaned and sterilized. The Dental Assistant will help with taking and recording patient information, educating patients on oral care instructions, and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with practice protocols. Additional tasks may include managing supplies, coordinating with front-desk staff for scheduling, and contributing to a positive, efficient, and patient-centered clinical environment.Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Dental Assisting and Dentistry to support chairside procedures and patient treatments.Candidates should possess skills in Dental Care and Oral Care to provide patient education, preventive care support, and post-treatment instructions.Candidates should possess skills in Sterilization to maintain infection control standards and ensure safe handling of instruments and equipment.Relevant experience in a dental practice, including familiarity with dental tools, materials, and procedures, is highly beneficial.Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent on-the-job experience is preferred; Massachusetts dental assistant certification is an advantage.Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical setting.Commitment to patient safety, privacy, and comfort, with attention to detail and adherence to clinical protocols.
