Every treatment plan is tailored to each patient’s unique needs and goals, with a strong emphasis on personalised care, health, function, and aesthetics.Role Description The Dental Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Eastwood, NSW, supporting dentists and oral health professionals in delivering high-quality patient care. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, assisting during dental procedures, managing chairside support, and ensuring patient comfort and clear communication before, during, and after appointments. The role involves instrument handling, sterilization and infection control processes, organizing dental materials, and maintaining accurate patient records and appointment schedules. The Dental Assistant will also help with patient education on oral care, coordinate with the front desk team as needed, and contribute to a clean, safe, and efficient clinical environment.QualificationsStrong foundation in Dental Care and Dentistry, with experience supporting a range of general and cosmetic procedures.Knowledge of Oral Care practices, including patient education on hygiene, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.Competence in Sterilization and infection control protocols, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.Hands-on experience in Dental Assisting, including chairside support, instrument handling, and treatment room preparation.Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (or equivalent qualification) preferred; relevant on-the-job experience highly valued.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-focused, compassionate approach to care.Strong attention to detail, ability to follow clinical protocols, and capacity to work collaboratively within a dental team.Basic computer literacy and familiarity with dental practice management software is beneficial.
