Dental Assistant (Full Time)We are a local Children's Dental Office looking for a dental assistant to join our fabulous growing team.The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, be willing to learn, great personality, friendly and enthusiastic personality, great attention to detail.We are willing to train the right person to learn these new skills and this is a great start for someone who has wanted a job in a medical career.The candidate must work well with children and their parents, have a motivated attitude, be outgoing, a team player, reliable, looking for a long term career, quick learner and have a great personality.Responsibilities for Dental AssistantTake and document patient dental history and updates, as well as overall health and medication historyAssist Dentist as requestedPrepare tables and trays for Dentist with necessary instruments and suppliesClean and sterilize instruments, and prepare treatment rooms as neededTake, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographsEnsure appropriate supply of equipment and materialsPerform patient charting as instructed by the DentistWelcome patients and their parents and get them situated in the appropriate treatment roomOur office is open Monday through Saturdays.Office Hours:Monday through Friday 8am-5pmSaturdays: 730am-130pm
