The Dental Assistant will support dentists during examinations and procedures, including preparing treatment rooms, arranging instruments, and assisting chairside. Daily responsibilities include welcoming patients, reviewing basic health information, explaining procedures, and ensuring comfort throughout visits. The role involves maintaining strict sterilization standards, cleaning and organizing equipment, and managing supplies. The Dental Assistant may also assist with x-rays, basic documentation, scheduling support, and promoting positive patient experiences in alignment with practice standards.QualificationsDemonstrated skills in Dental Assisting and practical support for Dentistry procedures.5+ years' experienceKnowledge of Dental Care and Oral Care practices, including patient education on routine hygiene.Experience with Sterilization protocols and maintaining a clean, safe clinical environment.Ability to follow clinical instructions accurately and work collaboratively with dentists and other team members.Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patients of diverse backgrounds.Attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to patient safety and comfort.Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience; current certifications (e.g., radiology, CPR) are preferred.Ability to stand for extended periods and perform clinical tasks that require manual dexterity.
