You’ll play a key role in maintaining a calm, welcoming environment while supporting the day-to-day efficiency of the practice.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:Assisting dentists during a range of procedures, ensuring patient comfort and efficient workflowPreparing and sterilising instruments in line with infection control protocolsSetting up and maintaining treatment roomsGreeting and supporting patients throughout their visitWorking closely with the wider team to ensure high-quality patient careMaintaining a clean, organised, and safe clinical environmentHours for this role: Monday : 7:30am - 5:30pmTuesday : 7:30am - 6:30pmWednesday : 7:45am - 5:30pmThursday : 7:45am - 6:30pmQualificationsYour experience and approachYour greatest asset will be your positive attitude, reliability, and ability to work as part of a team. While previous dental experience is preferred, it is not essential, we’re happy to train the right person.You’ll bring:Strong communication and interpersonal skillsThe ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentGood organisational skills and attention to detailA friendly, professional, and patient-focused approachWillingness to learn and contribute to a positive team cultureValid NZ work rightsAdditional InformationThis is a fixed-term parental leave cover position commencing on 31 August 2026 and ending on 13 September 2027.
