Applicants can expect a performance-driven environment where quality and speed of service are key priorities.Role Description The Dental Ceramist is a full-time, on-site role based in Sharjah. The role involves designing, fabricating, and finishing dental prosthetics such as crowns, bridges, veneers, and dentures using appropriate ceramics and materials. Day-to-day tasks include reading dental prescriptions, collaborating with dentists and dental technicians, selecting shades, layering porcelain, and performing detailed adjustments to ensure proper fit and esthetics. The Dental Ceramist will maintain laboratory equipment, follow infection control and safety protocols, and document work accurately. This position also requires consistent communication with the dental team to meet deadlines and quality standards for each case.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Laboratory Skills, including handling dental materials, operating lab equipment, and following standardized procedures.Candidates should possess solid Dental Technology skills, including ceramic layering, contouring, glazing, and color matching for crowns, bridges, and veneers.Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Dentistry to understand occlusion, tooth anatomy, and clinical requirements for prosthetic design.Candidates should possess experience working as Laboratory Technicians in dental laboratories, including case management and coordination with dental professionals.Candidates should possess skills in fabricating and adjusting Dentures and other removable prostheses, ensuring comfort, function, and esthetics.Relevant diploma or certification in dental technology or dental laboratory sciences is preferred.Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and strong visual esthetic sense are essential.Ability to meet deadlines, follow quality standards, and work collaboratively in an on-site laboratory environment.Previous experience as a Dental Ceramist or in a similar dental lab role is highly beneficial.
