The practice is committed to providing accessible, respectful care to individuals and families in the area.Role Description This on-site Dental Hygienist role is based in St. Paul, MN and can be full-time or part-time, with a compensation range of $55–65 per hour. The Dental Hygienist will provide assisted hygiene services, including dental prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and patient education on oral health. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing medical histories, performing thorough cleanings, assessing periodontal status, taking necessary radiographs, and documenting findings accurately in the patient record. The role also involves collaborating closely with dentists and dental assistants to coordinate patient care, supporting a smooth clinical workflow, and contributing to a positive, team-oriented environment. The hygienist is expected to follow infection control protocols, maintain high clinical standards, and deliver compassionate, trauma-informed care to diverse patient populations.Qualifications Strong clinical foundation in dentistry and dental care, with the ability to support comprehensive treatment plans.Proficiency in hygiene services, including dental prophylaxis and management of periodontal disease.Current state licensure as a Dental Hygienist in Minnesota (or eligibility to obtain), and CPR/BLS certification.Ability to use modern dental technology and practice management software for charting, radiography, and scheduling.Excellent communication and patient education skills, with a focus on building trust and promoting preventive care.Commitment to infection control, safety standards, and evidence-based clinical practices.Strong teamwork skills, reliability, and the ability to work efficiently in an assisted hygiene model.Previous experience in a general dentistry or family practice setting is beneficial but not required; new graduates are welcome to apply.
