This integrated model of care focuses on understanding each patient as a whole person and providing tailored, high-quality dental treatment.Role Description The Dental Hygienist is a full-time, on-site role based at Clinique Dentaire Dr. Daniel Laramée in Montreal, QC. In this role, the hygienist provides preventive dental care, including thorough cleanings, scaling, polishing, and patient education on oral hygiene practices. Day-to-day tasks include assessing oral health, documenting findings, assisting in the management of periodontal conditions, and collaborating with the dentist and other team members to design individualized care plans. The hygienist also supports the clinic’s focus on biocompatible materials by following established protocols and maintaining high standards of infection control and patient safety. The position involves direct patient interaction, clear communication, and a strong commitment to respectful, person-centered care.Qualifications Strong foundational knowledge in Dentistry and Dental Care, with the ability to apply clinical guidelines in a patient-centered setting.Demonstrated expertise in Hygiene and Dental Prophylaxis, including professional cleanings, scaling, and preventive oral health education.Experience in assessing, preventing, and managing Periodontal Disease within a collaborative dental care team.Valid Dental Hygienist license or eligibility for licensure in Quebec, with compliance to all relevant regulatory standards.Commitment to using biocompatible materials and interest in integrative, whole-person approaches to oral health.Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient education skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.Attention to detail, adherence to infection control protocols, and ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation.Proficiency in French; English communication skills are an asset.
