The practice welcomes new patients, accepts insurance, provides emergency care, and schedules appointments to support efficient, patient-centered dental experiences.Role Description The Dental Hygienist at Creative Dentistry, P.C. is a full-time, on-site role based in Nashville, TN. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing thorough dental cleanings, conducting dental prophylaxis procedures, assessing and documenting oral health conditions, and supporting the prevention and treatment of periodontal disease. The role involves educating patients on oral hygiene practices, assisting with special needs and sedation dentistry cases, and collaborating with dentists and clinical staff to deliver coordinated, high-quality care. The Dental Hygienist will also maintain accurate patient records, follow infection control protocols, and help ensure a safe, comfortable environment for all patients.Qualifications Strong clinical skills in Dentistry and Dental Care, with the ability to support a wide range of patient needs.Proficiency in Hygiene and Dental Prophylaxis to provide high-quality preventive care and routine cleanings.Knowledge of Periodontal Disease, including assessment, prevention, and non-surgical treatment strategies.Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in the state of Tennessee and compliance with all regulatory requirements.Commitment to patient-centered care, including working with patients who have special needs and those receiving sedation.Strong communication and patient education skills, with attention to detail and adherence to infection control standards.Experience in a general or family dental practice setting is preferred; familiarity with electronic dental records is beneficial.
