The team focuses on creating a positive, rewarding experience through attentive service and a serene atmosphere.Role Description This full-time, on-site Dental Hygienist role is based at Centre Dentaire St-Leonard in the Greater Montreal Metropolitan Area. The Dental Hygienist will perform comprehensive preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene services, including patient assessments, dental prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and education on oral health practices. Daily responsibilities include reviewing medical histories, conducting periodontal screenings, taking and interpreting digital radiographs, and collaborating with dentists to develop and implement treatment plans. The role also involves maintaining accurate clinical records, following strict infection control and sterilization protocols, and supporting patient comfort through clear communication and a calm chairside manner. The hygienist will work closely with the dental team to ensure efficient appointment flow and a consistently high standard of care.Qualifications Strong clinical knowledge and practical skills in Dentistry and Dental Care.Demonstrated expertise in Hygiene and Dental Prophylaxis for preventive oral health.Ability to assess, manage, and educate patients regarding Periodontal Disease.Valid dental hygiene license or certification in the relevant jurisdiction.Experience with digital radiography, intraoral cameras, and modern dental equipment.Commitment to strict infection control, sterilization standards, and patient safety.Excellent communication, patient education, and interpersonal skills in a clinical setting.Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary dental team and manage a consistent full-time schedule.
