Dental Hygienist

Role Description This full-time, on-site Dental Hygienist role is based in the Greater Montreal Metropolitan Area. The Dental Hygienist will perform comprehensive dental hygiene care, including assessments, scaling, polishing, and dental prophylaxis, while educating patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care. Responsibilities include reviewing medical histories, assisting in the detection and management of periodontal disease, supporting the dentist during clinical procedures when needed, and maintaining accurate, confidential patient records. The role also involves adhering to infection control protocols, ensuring safe operation of dental equipment, and contributing to a respectful, collaborative clinic environment focused on patient comfort and quality care.QualificationsCandidates should possess skills in Dentistry and Dental Care to support clinical procedures and comprehensive oral health services.Candidates should possess skills in Hygiene and Dental Prophylaxis to deliver preventive treatments and promote optimal oral hygiene practices.Candidates should possess knowledge of Periodontal Disease to assist in its assessment, prevention, and ongoing management.Diploma or degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution and eligibility for licensure/registration as a Dental Hygienist in the applicable provincial regulatory body.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to explain treatment plans, educate patients, and collaborate effectively with dental team members.Demonstrated attention to detail, adherence to infection control standards, and ability to manage multiple patients and tasks efficiently.Experience in a dental clinic or similar clinical setting is an asset; proficiency in French and/or English in a clinical context is beneficial.
