The ideal candidate will provide preventive dental care, educate patients on oral health, and support dentists in delivering high-quality patient-centred care.Key Responsibilities:Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planingTake and interpret dental X-rays.Conduct periodontal assessments and charting.Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment plans.Apply fluoride and sealants as needed.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.Follow infection control and sterilization protocols.Assist dentists during examinations when required.Ensure patient comfort and satisfaction throughout visits.Collaborate with the dental team to support efficient patient flowQualifications:Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene.Active Minnesota Dental Hygienist license.Valid X-ray certification (as required by the state).Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Patient-focused approach with attention to detail.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
