As a member of the National Dental team, you'll have the feel and relationships of an established local practice with the additional resources, benefits, and support of a larger dental organization.We are seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our Chelsea practice. We're looking for a patient-focused hygienist who values quality care, strong clinical standards, and the ability to build lasting relationships with patients.Our hygiene team works with a single-column schedule with 60-minute recall and prophy appointments, allowing our hygienists the time needed to provide thorough, individualized care.What You'll DoProvide comprehensive preventive dental care, including prophylaxis and periodontal therapyPerform periodontal charting and oral health assessmentsTake digital radiographs as neededEducate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and recommended treatmentIdentify areas of concern and communicate findings with the treating dentistMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentationFollow established infection-control and clinical protocolsWork collaboratively with dentists, dental assistants, and the front-office teamCreate a comfortable, positive experience for patientsRequirementsActive Dental Hygiene License in New YorkLocal Anesthesia Certification (if applicable by state) Current CPR/BLS Certification Strong communication and patient education skills Commitment to quality patient care Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment PreferredLaser Certification Experience with assisted hygiene models Experience in PPO, Fee-for-Service, and/or Medicaid environments Experience with periodontal therapy Experience with patient education and treatment acceptance Bilingual skills BenefitsEmployees who have full-time schedules may be eligible for:Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401(k) with 4% Employer Match Paid Holidays Paid Time Off (PTO) Continuing Education Support Insurance benefits begin the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment.
