The Dental Nurse will assist dental practitioners during clinical procedures, including preparing treatment rooms, setting up equipment, and supporting chairside treatment. Responsibilities include providing patient care before and after procedures, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. The role also involves implementing infection control protocols, handling decontamination and sterilization of instruments, and managing dental materials and supplies. The Dental Nurse will work closely with the dental team to coordinate appointments, educate patients on oral care, and support orthodontic and general dentistry services as required.Qualifications Clinical dentistry skills, including experience in general Dental Care and support for Orthodontics.Knowledge of Infection Control practices and Decontamination procedures in a dental setting.Formal training or certification as a Dental Nurse, Dental Assistant, or equivalent qualification.Strong patient-care skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, respectfully, and professionally.Attention to detail, good manual dexterity, and the ability to follow clinical protocols and safety guidelines.Ability to work collaboratively within a dental team and manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with dental instruments, materials, and basic chairside documentation; experience in Malaysia’s healthcare or dental context is an advantage.
