Dental Nurse

Immediate start available for the right candidate.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality chairside assistance to dentists during all clinical proceduresMaintain a clean, safe, and well-prepared surgery in accordance with infection control and health & safety protocols (HTM 01-05, CQC standards)Accurately update and maintain patient records, including charting and medical historiesPrepare and sterilise instruments and equipment following cross-infection protocolsEnsure the correct handling of radiographs in line with IR(ME)R and IRR regulationsSupport patient comfort and care, including assisting in emergencies and communicating sensitively with patients of all backgroundsAssist with stock control, ordering materials, and ensuring availability of clinical suppliesLiaise with dental laboratories to manage timely dispatch and receipt of lab workAdhere to all confidentiality, data protection, and safeguarding guidelinesParticipate in practice meetings, audits, compliance checks, and CPD activitiesProvide occasional reception or administrative support as neededFollow all practice policies and maintain a professional appearance in line with uniform and PPE guidelinesKnowledge and experience with dental software such as Dentally is an advantageRequired Skills and AttributesExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsStrong motivation and active listening abilitiesA genuine interest in patient care and oral healthConfidence in using various dental tools and equipmentAbility to work well independently and within a teamStrong multitasking abilities and attention to detailGood time management and punctualityPrevious dental experience is an advantageAbout UsComplete Smiles is a growing network of modern dental practices located across the UK and Northern Europe.
