You’ll work chairside alongside our dentists and specialists, keeping treatments running smoothly and making sure every patient feels genuinely looked after from the moment they sit down.This is a hands-on role at the heart of the practice. If you take real pride in patient care, love a calm and well-run surgery, and want to keep growing in a modern, supportive team, you’ll fit right in.Key ResponsibilitiesAssisting dentists and clinicians chairside throughout a full range of treatmentsPreparing the surgery and setting up instruments and materials ahead of each patientKeeping patients comfortable, informed and reassured, especially anyone who’s a little nervousMaintaining the highest standards of decontamination, sterilisation and infection prevention & controlHandling accurate charting, clinical notes, and patient recordsManaging stock, ordering, and day-to-day surgery housekeepingSupporting the wider clinic team to keep the day running on time and stress-freeWhat We're Looking ForGDC registration as a Dental Nurse (essential)NEBDN National Diploma in Dental Nursing or an equivalent recognised qualificationA warm, reassuring manner and excellent communication with patients and colleaguesSound knowledge of decontamination and infection-control protocolsGreat attention to detail, reliability, and a genuine team-player attitudeRight to work in Ireland or the UKNice to haveExperience with implant, sedation, orthodontic or other specialist treatmentsPost-registration qualifications (e.g. radiography, impression-taking, oral health education)Familiarity with digital dentistry and practice-management softwarePrevious experience in a busy multi-surgery or private practiceWhat we offerWe invest in our people the same way we invest in our patients.
