The Dental Nurse will support dentists during clinical procedures, prepare and maintain treatment rooms and instruments, and ensure high standards of infection control and decontamination. Daily tasks include assisting with patient assessments, providing chairside support, updating patient records, and helping patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit. The role also involves coordinating appointments, managing clinical stock, and working closely with the wider practice team to deliver efficient, safe, and compassionate dental care.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess skills in Dentistry and Dental Care to deliver safe, effective chairside support and high-quality patient care.Candidates should possess skills in Infection Control and Decontamination to maintain a clean, compliant clinical environment and adhere to regulatory standards.Candidates should possess skills or experience in Orthodontics to assist with orthodontic treatments and support patients through their care plans.Relevant dental nursing qualification, registration with the appropriate professional body, and up-to-date immunizations and compliance training are beneficial.Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills, with a compassionate approach to patient interaction, are highly desirable.
