The Dental Technician will fabricate, modify, and repair dental prostheses and appliances, including crowns, bridges, dentures, and orthodontic devices, following prescriptions and specifications from dental professionals. Daily tasks include working with dental materials, operating laboratory equipment, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring high standards of infection control and safety. The role involves collaborating closely with dentists and other clinical staff to clarify design requirements, meet quality expectations, and manage case timelines. The Dental Technician will also contribute to process improvements within the laboratory and support adherence to relevant healthcare regulations and internal quality standards.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong foundational knowledge in Dentistry and Dental Care to understand clinical prescriptions and patient needs.Candidates should possess practical expertise in Dental Technology and Prosthodontics for the design, fabrication, and adjustment of dental prostheses and appliances.Candidates should possess solid Laboratory Skills for handling materials, operating lab equipment, maintaining safety protocols, and managing case documentation.Formal qualification or diploma in Dental Technology or a related field, with valid professional registration or eligibility as per UAE regulations.Experience working in a dental laboratory or clinical dental setting, preferably within the UAE or GCC region.Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to interpret technical drawings and digital scans.Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.Commitment to quality, infection control standards, and continuous professional development.
