Job DescriptionOur client, a reputable healthcare organization focused on comprehensive dental care and academic training, is hiring a general Dentist. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated dental professional to join a well-established practice with a focus on outpatient services, teaching, and community engagement. The role offers a chance to work in a dynamic environment that emphasizes both clinical excellence and professional development.ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive dental care to adult and pediatric patients, with an emphasis on adult treatments. Perform general dentistry procedures, including restorations, extractions, and root canal treatments. Assist in resident and student education, fostering a teaching environment. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including dental assistants and hygienists. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations. Participate in residency training programs and potentially contribute to curriculum development. Cover scheduled shifts, including optional Saturdays, and adapt to flexible work arrangements. RequirementsMinimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an attending or teaching environment, or 5 years of general dentistry practice. Proficiency in pediatric dentistry, root canal therapy, extractions, and general procedures. Strong communication skills, comfort with pediatric patients, and ability to work effectively with residents. Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical setting. Experience with the EPIC Wisdom system (training provided) is preferred. Valid dental license in NY or eligibility to obtain one.
