Westcoast is deeply involved in the local community, including programs for orphaned children, and is committed to gentle, caring, and safe treatment for every patient.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Dentist role based at Westcoast International Dental Clinic in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The Dentist will provide comprehensive clinical care, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and delivery of restorative, cosmetic, surgical, and preventive dental procedures for adults and children. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing treatments such as fillings, root canals, crowns and bridges, veneers, implants, orthodontic procedures, and professional cleanings, while ensuring patient comfort and safety. The Dentist will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team and the in-house dental laboratory to plan complex cases, maintain detailed clinical records, and follow clinic protocols and quality standards at every step of care. The role also involves educating patients on oral health, participating in ongoing professional development, and contributing to community programs and clinic initiatives.QualificationsValid dental degree (DDS, DMD, or equivalent) from an accredited institution and eligibility to practice dentistry in Vietnam or willingness to obtain necessary licensing.Demonstrated skills in general dentistry, including diagnosis, treatment planning, preventive care, and routine restorative procedures.Experience or strong interest in cosmetic and complex dental treatments such as implants, All-on-4 procedures, veneers, crowns, bridges, and orthodontic care.Commitment to high clinical standards, adherence to infection control and safety protocols, and familiarity with international best practices.Strong patient communication skills, including the ability to explain treatment options clearly, provide gentle care, and build trust with diverse patient populations.Ability to work collaboratively in an international, multidisciplinary team and coordinate closely with dental assistants, specialists, and laboratory technicians.Ongoing interest in professional development, including participation in training, continuing education, and adopting new technologies and techniques.Proficiency in English; knowledge of Vietnamese or willingness to learn is an advantage.Prior experience in a hospital setting is very favorable but not necessary
