From the first i-Sihat Medical Clinic in 2012 to Sunny Kids Paediatrics and Mediwira Dental, the group focuses on building long-term relationships with patients. Each patient is treated as an individual, with an emphasis on quality care, trust, and compassionate service.Role Description The Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care to patients at Mediwira Dental, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and delivery of restorative, preventive, and cosmetic procedures. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing examinations, interpreting diagnostic imaging, administering local anesthesia, and carrying out treatments such as fillings, extractions, scaling and polishing, and other clinical procedures. The role also involves educating patients on oral health, maintaining accurate clinical records, and adhering to infection control and safety protocols. The Dentist will collaborate with the clinical team to ensure efficient patient flow and a positive patient experience. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kota Kinabalu.Qualifications Recognized dental degree (e.g., BDS, DDS, DMD) and valid registration with the relevant Malaysian dental council or regulatory body.Clinical proficiency in routine dental procedures, including examinations, restorative treatments, extractions, preventive care, and basic emergency management.Strong patient communication skills, with the ability to explain treatment options clearly and build trust with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds.Commitment to high standards of infection control, clinical documentation, and adherence to professional and ethical guidelines.Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and contribute to a supportive, patient-centered clinic environment.Willingness to participate in continuous professional development and stay current with advances in dental techniques and technologies.Previous experience in a general dental practice or community clinic setting is an advantage; new graduates with strong clinical training may also be considered.Comfort working in an on-site clinical environment in Kota Kinabalu, with flexibility to adapt to patient volume and operational needs.
