Dental professionals joining Wira become part of a team focused on building long-term relationships and improving smiles across diverse communities.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Dentist role based in Malaysia. The Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and delivery of preventive and restorative services. Daily responsibilities include performing procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, and periodontal treatments, as well as educating patients on oral hygiene and preventive care. The role involves maintaining accurate and timely clinical records, collaborating with dental assistants and other healthcare professionals, and adhering to clinical safety, infection control, and regulatory standards. The Dentist is expected to contribute to a patient-centered environment that is respectful, inclusive, and focused on high-quality outcomes.Qualifications Professional clinical skills in dental examination, diagnosis, treatment planning, and delivery of preventive and restorative procedures.Proficiency in operative dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and basic oral surgery within a general practice setting.Strong patient communication and counseling skills, with the ability to explain treatment options and promote oral health education.Commitment to clinical governance, including infection control, safe radiography practices, accurate record-keeping, and regulatory compliance.Recognized dental degree and current license/registration to practice dentistry in Malaysia or eligibility to obtain it.Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and to provide culturally sensitive care to diverse patient groups.Relevant experience in a clinical dental setting; experience in family or community-focused care is an advantage.Continuous learning mindset, with openness to new techniques, technologies, and evidence-based clinical guidelines.
