KEY DETAILS Location: Grantsville, MD Job Type: Full-Time Salary: $190,000–$220,000 annually (flexible based on experience) Licensure: Active Maryland and/or West Virginia dental license Education: DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited dental school Experience: 3+ years preferredPosition OverviewOur client is seeking a Dentist to provide comprehensive, high-quality dental care to patients. This position provides preventive, diagnostic, restorative, and emergency dental services while developing individualized treatment plans based on each patient's needs.The Dentist works collaboratively with dental and medical team members to promote quality patient care, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and support the organization's patient-focused mission.What You’ll Do Perform comprehensive and periodic oral examinations Diagnose dental conditions and develop individualized treatment plans Provide preventive, diagnostic, restorative, and emergency dental care Perform restorations, crowns, bridges, extractions, and other general dentistry procedures Interpret dental radiographs and diagnostic information Manage dental emergencies, pain, infections, and oral disease Prescribe medications when clinically appropriate Educate patients on treatment options, oral hygiene, and preventive care Maintain accurate and timely dental records Coordinate referrals to specialists and other healthcare providers Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, medical providers, and other care team members Follow infection prevention, sterilization, radiation safety, HIPAA, and workplace safety requirements Participate in quality improvement, peer review, clinical meetings, and continuing educationWhat You’ll Bring DDS or DMD from a dental school accredited by CODA Current, active, unrestricted dental license in Maryland and/or West Virginia, or eligibility to obtain required licensure Current BLS certification for healthcare providers Current DEA registration and applicable state controlled-substance registration when required Knowledge of general dentistry, including preventive, diagnostic, restorative, and emergency care Strong clinical judgment and treatment-planning skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively with patients, dental staff, medical providers, and interdisciplinary teams Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to maintain accurate electronic health recordsPreferred 3+ years of experience as a Dentist FQHC, community health center, public health, or similar healthcare experience Experience with underserved, rural, pediatric, geriatric, or medically complex populations Experience with electronic dental records and digital radiographyCompensation & Benefits $190,000–$220,000 annual salary Full-time position Continuing education and professional development opportunities as required Participation in quality improvement and clinical development activitiesWHY JOIN?
