The practices focus on maintaining optimal oral health while enhancing the appearance of each patient’s smile through custom-designed cosmetic solutions. Both locations offer extended weekday and weekend hours, providing convenient access to care for the Cairns community.Role Description This full-time, on-site Dentist role is based across our Cairns, QLD practices at Stockland Earlville and Mt Sheridan Plaza. The Dentist will provide comprehensive clinical care, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative procedures, preventive care, and cosmetic treatments tailored to each patient’s needs. Daily responsibilities include delivering high-quality general and cosmetic dentistry, managing emergency cases, supervising dental assistants, and ensuring accurate clinical documentation and compliance with all regulatory and infection control standards. The role involves working with patients of all ages, with a strong focus on family and pediatric dentistry, building long-term patient relationships, and promoting oral health education. The Dentist will collaborate closely with the wider clinical and front office team to support a welcoming, efficient, and patient-centered practice environment.Qualifications Current registration or eligibility for registration as a Dentist with the relevant Australian dental board, and completion of an accredited dental degree.Demonstrated clinical skills in general dentistry, including examinations, diagnosis, restorative treatments, preventive care, and basic endodontic and periodontal procedures.Experience or strong interest in cosmetic dentistry, such as tooth whitening, veneers, smile makeovers, and facial aesthetic treatments.Competence in pediatric and family dentistry, with the ability to provide gentle, reassuring care to children and patients with dental anxiety.Sound knowledge of infection control protocols, radiation safety, and current dental materials and technologies.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain treatment options clearly and build trust with a diverse patient base.Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary dental team, contributing to a supportive and collaborative clinic culture.Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with advances in clinical practice and patient care.Previous experience in private practice and familiarity with dental practice management systems is beneficial.
