Deployment Engineer (Cybersecurity / National Security))

We are seeking a highly technical Deployment Engineer to lead the implementation and deployment of cybersecurity and national security solutions within customer environments. This is a customer-facing role requiring a strong background in Linux, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, networking, and enterprise systems deployment.About the RoleYou will work closely with customers to understand their existing IT landscape, design deployment architectures, install and configure platforms, and ensure the successful implementation of complex cybersecurity solutions. The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and thrives in fast-paced environments where problem-solving and technical ownership are essential.ResponsibilitiesLead the deployment, installation, configuration, and operationalization of cybersecurity and national security platforms within customer environments.Design deployment architectures based on customer infrastructure, ensuring alignment with technical requirements and project scope.Install, configure, and troubleshoot Linux-based servers and enterprise applications across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.Deploy and support containerized workloads using Kubernetes and related orchestration technologies.Assess customer infrastructure, including servers, networking, storage, and cloud platforms, to ensure successful solution implementation.Collaborate directly with customer IT, infrastructure, and security teams to plan and execute deployments.Translate business and operational requirements into clear technical implementation and deployment documentation.Produce deployment guides, technical reports, implementation documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials.Review and interpret Statements of Work (SOW), technical specifications, and contractual scope to ensure successful project delivery.Troubleshoot complex deployment and infrastructure issues on-site or remotely, providing timely resolution with minimal customer impact.Advise customers on infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity best practices during implementation.Support integration with customer environments, including cloud platforms, identity services, networking, and security controls.Participate in customer workshops, technical discussions, solution validation, and knowledge transfer sessions.Work closely with engineering, product, and delivery teams to continuously improve deployment methodologies and implementation processes.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).8–10+ years of experience in deployment engineering, infrastructure engineering, systems engineering, implementation consulting, or technical professional services.Strong hands-on experience administering Linux servers in enterprise environments.Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.Strong knowledge of enterprise networking, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, VPNs, and firewalls.Experience installing, configuring, and supporting enterprise server infrastructure.Ability to assess customer IT environments and design deployment approaches that align with operational and security requirements.Strong technical documentation skills, including deployment guides, implementation plans, architecture documents, and operational reports.Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to resolve technical issues under pressure.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with experience working directly with enterprise customers.Experience working in fast-paced startup or high-growth technology environments.Willingness to travel to customer sites as required and provide support during critical deployment windows.Required SkillsExperience deploying cybersecurity platforms, security monitoring solutions, or national security technologies.Experience supporting government, defense, law enforcement, critical infrastructure, telecommunications, or national security organizations.Understanding of cybersecurity principles, including firewalls, identity management, endpoint security, network security, and secure infrastructure design.Familiarity with virtualization technologies, automation tools, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).Experience with scripting using Bash or Python.Relevant certifications such as RHCSA/RHCE, CKA, CKAD, CCNA, CCNP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, Security+, CISSP, or equivalent.Existing UAE national security clearance or the ability to obtain one is highly desirable.Preferred SkillsA hands-on engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges.A customer-focused professional who can confidently communicate with both technical teams and senior stakeholders.Someone capable of translating business requirements into practical technical deployment solutions.Strong technical writing skills with the ability to produce clear deployment documentation, implementation guides, and operational reports.A proactive individual who can quickly learn new technologies and adapt to evolving customer environments.A collaborative team player who takes ownership and is willing to support critical deployments beyond standard business hours when required.
